Südtirol Resort Manager
ITDEEN
A South Tyrol valley at dusk: village lights on the valley floor, the Dolomites against an orange sky.

Every light in the valley is a real village.

A tourism manager for South Tyrol, built on open data. Scroll: the photo becomes the map, and the map is live.

Transparency

  1. CC0 for almost all the data.

Free reuse. The few exceptions that require attribution are flagged, for example cross-border Swiss data.

  2. Simulated when simulated, real when real.

Buses and trains move simulated on the official timetable, never on GPS, and every popup says so. The aircraft on the live map are real transponder positions from the adsb.lol community network.

  3. Stated limits, not hidden ones.

There is no reliable open source for live traffic: we get it from TomTom, the only non-open data in the project, and say so on the map.

  4. Actually up to date.

Events regenerated every week. Weather, traffic, flights and alerts fetched on every visit.
